I am a 40 something wife & mother of 3! I love God my family & friends!! My hubby is the man!! He supports me in all I do! My kids are the the most talented & giving young people I know! They give us lot's of enjoyment and a great sense of pride. ( And every once in a while a run for our money! ) As a full time working mom I work hard & play hard!! I love a little gambling getaway! I own a Harley Davidson Softtail Deluxe ( I'm still working on my madd riding skills!!) It goes without saying a shopping trip is always bliss!!! Fashion is my true passion! I love couture. I want all the mom's out there to know just because you are a mom doesn't mean you still can't look like a model!!! ( Or at least feel like one. ) Every morning when you wake, take a few minutes for yourself to plan out your outfit. That means your clothing, jewlery, shoes & bag. Even your under garmnets too! It doesn't always have to cost much to look put together. If you get a chance purchase a few key pieces that won't go out of style, that you can mix & match with less expensive items. Those key pieces don't always have to be clothing. A designer handbag or shoes will last forever with the right care. This winter you really need a great pair of boots, tall ones look really great with skinny jeans tucked in. Shoe boots are also a great way to liven up a dress with tights. Hang on to that scarf I talked about from fall, it will look great with jeans & a t-shirt. ( remember keep a pair of heels handy ) This can take you from daytime mom to night time diva! If all else fails borrow, borrow, borrow! Make sure you take time for you so you can be the very best you can be at whatever you do! A simple pedicure can go a long way in making you feel beautiful for the day. ( Check with your local spa see if they offer the "Margarita Special") Plus you get to relax! Which is something we mom's rarely do. Also try to plan some one on one time with your mate. It helps to keep the family grounded, because you know what they say " If Momma ain't happy, nobody's happy!" Last but not least. With our Country in a recession , try to eat at home to save up for a long weekend every now & then. This can do wonders for the entire family. I love a good pro football game! Nothing like tail gating before a game!! The kids seem to really enjoy this as well! I also want to show some love for all my CWA union brothers & sisters every where!
"Livin large in Texas!!"
See Ya!

P.S. Have a Happy & Prosperous New Year!!
