 Remember me

Hellos and Goodbyes are a part of life whether we like it or not.  But when you think about it they really go hand in hand. Right now we are all saying Hello/Goodbye to something. Maybe you are saying HELLO to: school...a new job...a new town...a new love...a new car...a new car you love~Ha! And with this comes a wave of emotions that are exciting and fresh. That also means you are saying GOODBYE to: summer...your friends at your old job...your dream home...being single...or in my case a wonderful visit with my dad and his wife. Once again another wave of emotions that can bring a tear to the eye.

As my 15 year old niece was getting ready for her first day of high school, showing me her outfit, practicing her make-up and hairstyle...I could remember that time in my life like it was yesterday.  Wow~ talk about Hello/Goodbye that's what that age is all about. Her childhood flashed before my eyes and I realized that this little girl is saying Goodbye to her youth and Hello to being a young adult. Sad for me...happy for her. When my five year old started Kindergarten this week I knew she was excited to say Hello to her new classroom and seeing which friends would be by her side all year long. It also meant she'd be saying goodbye to eating lunch with mom and dad...HELLO school cafeteria. As a matter of fact this was so exciting she reminded me ten times a day...for three days prior to school starting to make her lunch Sunday night! Once again I'm feeling sad but I know she is feeling happy.

Right now as you say Goodbye to a wonderful summer with your family remember another Happy Hello is right around the corner.

P.S. Neil Diamond said it best "Hello, my friend hello, its good to need you so. Its good to love you like I do. And to feel this way. When I hear you say HELLO.

With Love~Namaste~Cheers
