Cocktail Match is a web site that stemmed from a late night cocktail with my wife.  I was drinking Tequila (Patron on the rocks) and she was sipping some really fine wine.  The more we drank the more we realized that our buzzes were completely different.  You've been there, right?  We started talking about bars and nightclubs and how everyone must have a different buzz going on.  Tequila for example, it either makes you want to fight or ????  Wine drinkers, they're sophisticated as they discuss tannins, body, and color.  You get the picture?  We decided that the perfect bar would be segregated so that you knew exactly what you had in front of you.  All bouncers to the Tequila and Beer section, please? 

 Later on that June 2007 night we bought the domain www.CocktailMatch.com .  We decided to build the concept on the internet.  Cocktail Match isn't a dating site, that's the other guy.  Cocktail Match is a place where you can invite adult friends to share their social lives with you.  It's our culture to want to know what our friends are doing and we also want to let them know if something really cool is going on with our lives but we usually don't have time to call everyone and tell them.  Not in this day and age.  We're not inventing anything new here, MySpace is huge but is jam packed with the younger crowd, FaceBook is wall to wall with college kids and a bunch of geniuses that like to stay up late and write cool computer programs and then post them on their FaceBook profiles.  Cocktail Match is for you and me, the person that likes to read cool magazines, like People, Vogue, Men's Health, Cosmo, Fortune, Oprah, Forbes, etc, etc.  Our goal is to make it fun.  We didn't know how to get started so we started reading Tech Blogs like Tech Crunch, Friday Traffic Report and many more.  The site will always be a work in progress so bear with us and feel free to send us your suggestions, we aren't pro's at this by any means.  Our goal is for you to be able to know what your friends are doing, where they are, and who they're with all from your PC or MAC and eventually from your hand held.
